About Your Host

In 2004, I read Rich Dad Poor Dad and quit my job in order to pursue financial freedom.

I tried so many things including stock trading, starting a franchise, flipping houses, and buying single family rentals, but none of them created the financial freedom I was seeking. 

In 2011, I accidentally got into a 12-unit apartment building in Washington, D.C. that I bought with 5 investors - my first syndication.

It was a nightmare for the first 18 months because I didn’t have an experienced advisor, but eventually it stabilized and began sending me $1,500 / month in “mailbox money”. 

From there, I slowly started learning and eventually grew my portfolio to over 3,000 units worth $300+ million.

My journey to financial freedom ignited a fire in me to help others make the same journey I made, WITHOUT the horrific mistakes. 

I started teaching others how to invest in apartments in 2014, and since then I’ve helped my students purchase more than 15,000 apartment units worth over $1.6 BILLION. 

As a result, I’ve helped hundreds of others achieve financial freedom!
